How to Measure Your Rooms
How To Take Room Measurements:
-Draw the approximate shape of the room. Don’t worry, it doesn’t have to be perfect!
-Mark the approximate location of any architectural features (ie. windows, doors, fireplace, bookshelf etc.)
-Mark location of outlets
-Measure the overall width and length of the room.
-Measure ceiling height
-Measure each wall separately making sure to include measurements for each wall area, door, windows, and architectural features.
